Express Service offers battery driven shunters. These electroshunters are designed with low top speed and have towing capacities from 200 to more than 1000 tons. According to the specific requirements we may change electric motors power and gearboxes’ ratios to achieve the desired performance. A choice of different in capacity traction batteries is available. Our battery shunters are very clean and quiet. They have simple construction, little wear parts, and their only running expense is electricity. This makes their operation cheaper compared to diesel shunters. While for indoor applications battery shunters are a must, they may perform on open tracks as well. Our electric shunters are particularly needed in depots, for indoor transportation, in clean industries, etc. In our ES series of electric vehicles we input either DC or AC traction motors fed by a suitably sized battery. Braking and an excellent positioning accuracy are achieved via electromagnetic brakes. On board of every vehicle there is a battery charger and a battery water-filling installation. All vehicles are radio remotely controlled while the cabin here is an option. Other options include limit switches, air compressor and air system to the train, adjustable in height coupling adaptor, and many others.
