In 1866 a small workshop was established near Ruse to serve Bulgaria’s first railway Ruse-Varna. Throughout the years the workshop grew into large industrial complex for repairs of locomotives and freight wagons with BDZ as a single customer. Nowadays we continue to serve the diesel locomotives of the Bulgarian Industry. We are engaged with repairs, maintenance and servicing of all major industrial sites’ shunters and wagons. After the liberalization of the Bulgarian railway market we are pleased to serve all private domestic carriers. Spending many years in rolling stock business allowed us to launch manufacturing of new vehicles in 2002. Our current range includes diesel-hydraulic shunters, battery-electric shunters, special freight wagons, and work vehicles. In 2006 we launched a new service at the Bulgarian market – outsourcing of industrial railway transportation. In 2008 we moved a major part of our production into new workshop in the town’s suburbs. Being the first railway establishment in Bulgaria and the first company to design and build new vehicles we feel the responsibility to be active promoter of new technologies, know-how and good practice. We will continue to advance the quality of our products and will keep up to date our bunch of services. |
